When its the festival season how can one resist making this multi useable dessert? Yes, I am talking about this rabdi. you can make rabdi in advance and can enjoy as it is or accompanied it with another dessert-like – malpua rabdi, gulab jamun rabdi, rabdi toast, ghevar rabdi, angoor rabadi, rabdi puri, and many more.
- 4 cups of milk
- 7-8 threads saffron
- ½ cup of sugar
- Take kadhai or a wok and add little water. Spread it all over the wok and put it on the gas.
- Now add in the milk and let it boil. Once it has come to boil turn the flame to medium and let this boil until it reduced to 1 cup of quantity. Make sure to stir in between but also do take care of cream or lachas forming. Try to bring it to the sides of the wok. This would not let it break and get dissolved into the milk.
- Add saffron and sugar. And cook again for about 5 min. Now turn the flame off and let this sit until cooled completely.
- Take it out to your serving bowl and chill this completely before serving.
